TATTOOS FOR CHARITY! A 21 SUBMARINE SALUTE SPONSORED BY JOHN BISWELL TATTOOS AND TRIPLE BEAGLE PRODUCTIONS. IN HONOR OF THE LATE JOHN BISWELL SR. Portland, ME - "21 Submarine Salute" on September 12, 2009 to all proceeds to benefit the Maine Children's Cancer Program. Triple Beagle Productions will film the event and compile the footage from the event into a documentary. Cancer survivors and there families are being encouraged to tell there experiences to the camera. “J. Rodney” Biswell Sr. a Senior Chief in the Navy worked on Diesel Boat Submarines and was a decorated high powered rifleman and also retired from Bath Iron Works. He passed away last year for cancer at the age of seventy-two. In the honor of his passing his son and tattooer John Biswell is sponsoring the tattoo charity event. With the help of friends Kapten Hannah of Squid and Whale Tattoo and Matt Wallace. They all will be tattooing submarine tattoos from 11 am to close. Their goal is to tattoo one hundred submarine tattoos with a suggested $100.00 donation each. Yes a goal of 10,000 dollars in a single day of tattooing!

THANKS TO ALL WHO MADE THIS EVENT A SUCCESS! 3 of us tattooed from 11am till 1:30am and raised over $5000 to benefit The Maine Children's Cancer Program. Thanks to all who supported this and attended. Thanks to all who supported this in spirit.Thanks Kapten Hanna and Matt Wallace for there generosity and friendship. Thanks to all of the businesses that supplied us with the fuel we needed to keep running Arabica,Portland Pie,and Joe's new york slice.Thanks to Randy for the donation of his time and photography skills. Thanks to Jason and Will for capturing so many moments on film. And a special thanks to the entire staff of volunteers for everything from spreading the word to keeping things running smoothly the entire event. I think my father would have thought me a little nuts at the out set of this one. But I am sure he would be very proud of all had he seen such an impressive turn out.

Friday Night Fright Productions filmed their first documentary in the summer of "08". It was called "A Summer On The Dark Side". It featured Dark Side Paranormal Research and their experiences throughout the summer. They felt it was a great project and loved working on it.

Now they are on to new things. Friday Night Fright Productions is currently working on a t.v. project called "Abandoned" with a few different networks. "Hopefully by this spring we will be filming full time and on your television!!"

Friday Night Fright Productions also started planning their first feature film. It will be a "gorefest zombie movie". The title is "Heaven Shall Burn" and will be filmed this summer in Maine. "My promise is to give something back to horror fans who have been lacking a real gore-filled movie.", said, Tom Zdon of Friday Night Fright Productions.

"A second film is on its way this winter. It will be a serial killer themed movie. I have always had a huge interest in the minds and lifestyles of serial killers and think it would be great to show some of my ideas and thoughts on film." - Tom Zdon
